    LCD Soundsystem - All My Friends - Pitchfork Music Festival

    So it was this exact moment, probably around the 5 minute mark, where I went from being a very casual LCD Soundsystem fan to an OMG I Fucking Love This Band LCD Soundsystem fan. I saw them again a few months later at an intimate show, roughly 10 feet from the stage, in what turned out to be their last ever Chicago appearance. And then a whole 10 months after this performance, they broke up at the peak of their popularity. I feel like I should personally apologize to James Murphy for waiting so long to jump on board. Oh well, I have this performance, and probably a reunion gig headlining Pitchfork in 2017 to look forward to, when I’ll be 34 and tackling teens to rush the stage.
